A 15 year-old female was seriously burned in a house fire in the early morning house of June 29th, 1997 at 1412 Quinwood Street in Adelphi. Units from Chillum-Adelphi, Hyattsville, Chillum, Takoma Park, Silver Spring & PGFD Medic 8 responded. The fire was contained to the basement and quickly knocked down. A dog died as a result of the fire. A second resident of the house and a firefighter suffered minor injuries.
