The Hyattsville VFD's apparatus is owned entirely by the Department, purchased primarily using charity funds. It is a state-of-the-art fleet that includes:
Two Class-A Pumpers, A 100-FT Aerial Ladder Truck, 2 BLS Ambulances, and a Heavy Duty Rescue Squad that also serves as a Mass Casualty/Metro (Transit) Support Unit. We have four command vehicles, including two Chevy Tahoes.
