I am on the fire engine committee and are presently receiving advertising for bid on a new engine. I am responsible for the fundraising for Thermal Imaging Cameras. Received our first one the first week of June and presently have half the money to buy our second unit for Station #2. Our department is a fully-paid career department consisting of 45 personnel working out of two fire stations. We cover approx 20 square miles and average 2000 runs (medical and fire) a year. We operate 2 engines, 1 reserve engine, 2 ambulances, 1 reserve ambulance, 1 heavy rescue, 1 paramedic squad, 1 100' platform, 1 tanker, 1 hazmat trailer, 1 dive boat, and numerous staff vehicles. I am from the east coast but a little farther north in Maine. I sure do miss east coast firefighter musters. See ya.
