At 1942 hours, Truck 1 was dispatched to 4109 33rd St in 55's first due for a house fire with one trapped. Units from 55 arrived on scene with fire showing. Truck 1 arrived and went to work as the second due Truck.

The exterior crews threw multiple ground ladders and cut 3 holes on the roof with deteriorating conditions. The roof crew continued to cut roof with fire extending up both sides B and D and encountered heavy fire load from the holes that were cut.

The crew from the exterior met up with the interior crews who were searching and opening up the walls. Crews made their way to the second floor and searched where heavy fire was encountered without the protection of the hose line. Crews from 1 and 9 made an aggressive attack on the second floor. Truck 1 remained for overhaul and cleared at 2330 hours.
