On July 29th at 1046 hours, Squad 1 was alerted to respond to Rte 201 and Edmondston Rd for the report of one possibly trapped. The Squad went enroute with 6 and went to work on arrival to extricate 1. Squad 1 cleared at 1132 hours.

On July 31st at 0756 hours, Squad 1 was dispatched to John Hanson Hwy at the outer loop of the Capital Beltway for one off the roadway into a tree. E833 arrived on scene with one into the woods and pinned. Squad 1 arrived and went to work with a crew of 3. With the assistance of E828 clearing several trees, the Squad crew was able to remove the doors and perform a dash roll.
