At 1013 hours, Engine 12 and Truck 1 were dispatched to 5817 31st Pl for the house fire. Engine 12 and Truck 1 arrived with smoke showing from a 2 story residential. The Engine crew stretched the line while the Truck crew started the searches. Fire was found running the wall on side Delta from the basement level. Truck 1 started to open up the basement and found fire running the joists while Engine 12 made a quick knock of the fire.

Engine 441 and Truck 9 opened up the outside and held the extension in check. Due to the extensive overhaul, the units remained on scene for over an hour opening up the walls in the basement and first floor. Searches were negative and extension was held to the first floor. Engine 12 and Truck 1 cleared at 1132 hours.
