At 0108 hours Truck 1 was dispatched as the third due special service to Annapolis and 57th Ave for the building fire. While approaching 57th Ave, the correct address came back as 5601 Tilden St. Engine 94 arrived with a 2 story residential with heavy fire showing from both floors.

Truck 1 assumed the second due truck responsibilities starting an aggressive search and opening up for the engine crews. The exteriror team attempted to open the roof until the second floor dormer collapsed into the first and crews were then ordered off the roof. The interior crew was faced with heavy fire on the second floor which was knocked down by the engine crew from Bladensburg. All searches were negative and Truck 1 remained on scene till 0327 hours for overhaul.
