On Sunday morning, Truck 1 was alerted to respond to Montgomery County on the working fire dispatch for the building fire . Engine 702 arrived on scene of 8601 Flower Ave with heavy fire showing from a 3 story private house converted into apartments. Upon arrival Truck 1's crew split and was sent to the top floor for overhaul and to perform a secondary search which proved negative. The outside crew threw the aerial and assisted in ventilation. The crew cleared in just over an hour.

The following morning a College Park resident reported a house fire at 7507 Hopkins Ave (12). PSC sent the box with Truck 1 being assigned as the first due special service. With Chief 812B on scene with heavy smoke showing and fire in the basement, Engine Co. 12 and Truck 12 held the stairs while Truck 1 and Engine Co. 7 went to the basement on side charlie. Truck 1 did a primary search of the basement, ventilated, and laddered the building. The crew was back in service around 2 hours later.
