At 0143 hours, Engine 11 was alerted to respond to 3601 Bladensburg Rd for the building fire. Engine 94 arrived to find a single story restaurant with heavy fire through the roof. Engine 11 arrived as 3rd due and staged at the plug while the crew advanced the 300' 2 inch.

With heavy fire conditions throughout the building all operations were ordered to go defensive. Trucks 7, 9, and Tower 33 set up for aerial operations and knocked the majority of the fire. The crew from 1 racked up and returned to quarters after operating for almost 2 hours.
