Just as Company 1 sat down for dinner, Squad 1 was dispatched to Company 9's area for the building on fire. First arriving units arrived on scene with fire showing from 2 floors of a mulit-family apartment building. Squad 1 arrived as third due special service and assumed the R.I.T. on side Alpha of the building and assisted with outside ventilation.

Shortly after, Engine 11 was dispatched on the task force. Engine 11 arrived to staging where they were put in service shortly after. The crew from Squad 1 was able to save a large bunny named "Cinnamon" from a second floor apartment.
