After a busy day for Company 1, Squad 1 was alerted to 11273 Columbia Pike in Montgomery 12s area. Units marked on scene with 1-2 townhouses with fire through the roof. Squad 1 running on the RID was re-assigned the search group. Squad 1 arrived and split crews’ searching the entire block on homes.

As Squad 1 went ready PSC requested the Squad to respond to Riggs Road and Sheridan Street. Ambulance 34 arrived with 2 vehicles and 1 trapped. Squad 1 arrived to find 1 vehicle down an embankment with the driver trapped. The crew quickly stabilized and removed the driver’s side and transported the patient to Medic 44. The patient was extricated in 9 minutes and Squad 1 went ready shortly after.
