Just after 1500 hours, Rescue Squad 1 was alerted to the Baltimore Washington Parkway for a personal injury accident. First arriving units went on scene with one overturned in a ditch and confirmed one occupant trapped.

Squad 1 arrived on scene and went to work stabilizing the vehicle. Both doors were taken from the driver side to gain access to the patient who was removed from the vehicle and taken to an area trauma center.
