Just before 1900 hours, the box was struck for the apartment fire on Toledo Terrace. Rescue Squad 1 was on the air performing a drill at the local Metro Station when they were alerted by PSC. Chief 1, Squad 1, and Ambulance 17 arrived shortly after with a corrected location on Toledo Place.

Chief 1 as BC804 reported smoke showing from a three story garden style apartment building. Ambulance 17 stood by with its crew as the dedicated ambulance. The Squad crew went to work forcing entry into apartments on the top floor and opening up with fire running through the ceilings.

With fire in multiple apartments, command requested the second alarm. With good work done by interior crews and crews on the roof the fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
