On Thursday, Truck 1 responded with 6 personnel along with Chief 1A as BC4 to the 2000 blk. of Avalon Place in Lewisdale (34). An outside fire extended into both stories and the roof of a single family dwelling, requiring crews to deploy several ladders, roof operations, and complete tasks on Division 1. Truck 1 and Engines 34 and 702 were held for extensive overhaul.

On Saturday, Truck 1 was once again off to Lewisdale for 2209 Lewisdale Drive. Truck 1 operated as the 1st due truck for a fire in the rear bedroom. The crew of 5 made quick work of this fire and was held to Truck 1 and Engine 34.

On Sunday, Engine 34 and Truck 1 pulled a hat trick- this time at 8130 15th Avenue in Langley Park for the apartment fire with people trapped. Truck 1 arrived with 5 personnel to find 3 occupants on balconies, a local assisting in victim removal and hundreds of spectators. Truck 1 got multiple ladders in service and completed searches as well as completing truck duties on the fire floor. The fire was held to a laundry room on the second floor. Truck 712 also removed 6 occupants from the rear of the building. Truck 1 returned to service within the hour.
