At 1348 hours, Engine 11 was alerted to the house fire at 4613 22nd Avenue in Co. 55's first due. Engine 11 responded with 4 and arrived first on scene with their own hydrant and smoke showing. The crew forced the door, vented all the windows necessary and knocked the fire before the second arriving piece arrived. The kitchen fire was knocked within 2 minutes of Engine 11's arrival. The crew cleared shortly after.
