At 1708 hours, Engine 11 and Rescue Squad 1 were alerted to the house fire at 1622 Drexel Street in Co 34's first due. The squad was the first special service on scene and per command assumed first due special service responsibilities performing the primary search with a reported child missing and then opening up for 34's line. The majority of the fire was in one room on the second floor but there was extension throughout the attic and knee walls. Engine 11 secured a secondary water source and was then assigned part of the RIT group with all three special services being utilized to open up and ventilate.
