FOUR EXTRICATED IN ROUTE 1 CRASH
Four people were trapped when a Saturn station wagon was rear-ended on Route 1 at East West Highway in Riverdale. One person remained in critical condition the following week. It was the second extrication on the evening of May 26th for Squad 1, whose crew extricated all the victims by removing the roof in just under 20 minutes. Volunteer Lt. Marshall Davies was the unit officer. The crew was comprised of Volunteer Sergeants Jeff Werth and Steve Wright and Career Firefighters Jonathan Henson and Horace Stanback.
