The Washington Post
I've only recently started writing for The Post and have had a
couple contributing lines with staff writers (including A1 stories)
but couldn't get the double since I'm a "Special to." But here are my
stories that I have had a byline for.....
- Man Trapped in Truck Underwater
Rescued
May 4th, 1996 - Metro Section
A unidentified man was trapped in his submerged truck in a drainage ditch
before three passers-by came to the rescue, using "The Club" to get him
out and saving his life.

Many of the stories I cover for the AP only run on the Broadcast Wire,
and therefore would not appear here. But here are some that I've written
recently that have appeared in many local and national publications.

May 18, 1996
A Prince George's County judge denied a motion by County and Redskins'
attorneys to dismiss a community organization's lawsuit against them. The
suit alleges that the county illegally changed zoning to permit the new
Redskins Stadium to be built at the Wilson Farms site.

Several people jumped from third-floor balconies as fire quickly spread
from a basement apartment in a Greenbelt development
11 Dead after Amtrak/MARC
collision
February 16, 1996
Eleven people were killed after a commuter train and Amtrak train
collided in Silver Spring. I was the first reporter on the scene and the
first to report many of the preliminary details, including fatalaties,
to the wire service. While the story is not written by me (numerous
people contributed), much of my information and many quotes are used.
